 June 1, 2021

A little catching up, from Grayton Beach, we took the beach route west

though Miramar Beach, Sandestin, Destin, and Fort Walton Beach.

Too busy for us here, high rise hotels, amusement parks, and lots of

people. Continued the Krul Lake Campground, nice site overlooking

the lake.  We had time to hike to Bear Lake, 2.5 miles on

Sweetwater Creek Trail.

Stayed at Ameristar Casino RV Park for three nights.
Our refrigerator was not working on ac, contacted Tom at Grey Wolf
Mobile RV Repair, and he came out diagnosed the problem. Ordered the part and had it overnighted, and installed on Saturday. Back in business!  Thanks again Tom!

Side note, you usually see road kill deer along the roadside, Well,
going though Louisiana, we saw a dead gater 🐊 on the roadside.
Another side note, went through Laurel, MS, where HGTV’s
‘HomeTown” is filmed. Didn’t see Ben or Erin.
